Our breakfast is an absolutely one-of-a-kind experience!
At Hotel Kugel, we specialize in bringing delectable regional products from local producers in and around Vienna. When selecting these local delicacies, we taste them ourselves to ensure their quality, and we also consider it imperative to maintain personal contact with our suppliers!
To compliment your meal, choose from a myriad of freshly prepared coffee drinks from the traditional roasting house Mocca Brasil, such as a Mélange (Vienna’s own café au lait), an espresso, latte macchiato, Verlängerter (Viennese-style americano), hot chocolate or tea, from the bio-pioneer Sonnentor of Vienna’s forest district.
Enjoy a sweet breakfast featuring various pastries like Gugelhupf, Krapfen (or Buchteln, depending on the season), a variety of marmalades (like Dirndlmarmelade from the Pielach Valley), Nutella, Austrian bee honey, as well as a nut or poppy seed strudel.
But of course, we also like to indulge the palate’s craving for the savory, too!
Choose from among the hot breakfast sausages of the forest district, scrambled eggs, soft-boiled eggs, Wildwurst from the wildlife park Ernstbrunn or from Spezifleischer Ladendorf, as well as selected hams and an assortment of cheeses and several spreads.
Small tomatoes, pickle slices and various juices (our particular specialties include a muscatel grape juice and sea buckthorn juice) muesli, cornflakes, various toppings like linseeds, sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds and, of course, fresh, hand-stirred berry yogurt complete our breakfast menu.
Our scrumptious bread and baked goods come from the bakery Rieppel in Vienna’s 14th District.
(Breakfast is served every day from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. We also want to accommodate those early birds among our guests: enjoy delicious, fresh hot coffee or tea and a croissant, served from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m.)
